Just reposting – please consider your support. Thank you
All,
The Charrier/Darling families are wonderful supporters of Neuqua Wildcats Rugby through our Bears Squares fundraising efforts. Please consider supporting their cause during the Boston Marathon. Abigail Darling finished high school in 3 years then attended the University of Tampa completing her undergrad in 3 years. She is currently in her 2nd year of law school and clerks for a Chicago law firm, mostly remote while living and training for the Marathon in Boston.
Hello, my name is Abigail Darling, and I am running the Boston Marathon on April 18th with the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge. The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is committed to researching and treating cancer patients with hopes that one day, they will not have to. I chose to run the DFMC for a multitude of reasons. The 1 reason is because 100% of the funds raised goes to their research center. I also choose DFMC because I have had those close to me affected by cancer. My paternal Grandmother fought and beat 6 types of cancer! It was not until her 7th diagnosis that she could no longer fight this awful disease. I also had the unfortunate experience of witnessing both of my best friends’ mothers tackle cancer too. Cancer is not merciful and will take everything from you. I witnessed the devastating impact it had on my family and friends first-hand. Fortunately, both of my friend’s mothers were treated at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and now are thriving. I am thankful for institutions like Dana-Farber and the compassion they show the patients they treat. I wanted to honor those that have fought cancer as well as those that tirelessly treat it. Would you please consider donating to my fundraiser to honor them as well? Thank you for any contribution.
